Selling our Spanish Fork Home

I'm much better at keeping facebook updated and this is how I explained the story of us selling our house.  Originally posted on November 13th, 2012.

Okay girls, here’s the story… Last Monday we knew the homeowners of the home we wanted to purchase in Salem were going to accept an offer from someone else that night. I told them that unless a miracle happened and we received an offer on our house that day that there wasn’t any way we could purchase their home. That is when I took down our sign and posted on Facebook that we were not moving anywhere.

To make an extremely long story short, we received an offer on our house later that night and submitted an offer on the house in Salem with literally no time to spare. By nothing short of a miracle they chose our offer over the 2 others they had. If everything goes as planned it looks like we’ll be moving the second week in December. We really were happy with our decision to stay here but it’s been made very clear to us that this is the path we need to take. It’s super exciting, but equally as terrifying!

We have absolutely NO doubt that this is where we are supposed to be.  Now that 8 months have passes since I posted that I am beginning to see why we needed to move.  We are so very, very, very happy here.  Honestly, every-time I drive up Woodland Hills Drive to our new home, I can't help but be thankful for everything I have.  We are so very blessed.

We are having the BEST. SUMMER. EVER!  We have a bag full of things to do once reading and jobs get done.  Our first adventure this summer was a trip to get donuts. Both boys loved watching them get made. We are trying to find joy in the little things and this little field-trip entertained them all afternoon.  The guy making the donuts was probably very sick of these four little eyes watching his every move.  Cooper's favorite: Key Lime.  Jack's Favorite: Anything with Sprinkles.

A New Chapter...

Holy Cow!  It's been a very very long time since I've updated this blog.  The last nine months have been full of ups, downs and everything in-between.   I'm going to make my best attempts of getting everything up to date but my life couldn't be more different than it was 9 months ago.  The main players in my adventure are of course the same, but everything else surrounding us is different.  Since my last blog post we've moved to Salem and turned our little comfort zone inside out.  It was terrifying and exciting all at the same time.   I'm sure I'll write about the entire story in a later post but we moved into our new home on December 12th and haven't regretted it or looked back for one second.  It wasn't easy, and there were more than a few tears shed in the process, but we know this was the right thing for our family and it was the right time to do it.  We've met some amazing people here and my family is going to be better and stronger for trusting our gut and relying on the spirit to help us make such huge decisions. And at times letting our Heavenly Father push us here even when we were not sure.

We love everyone and everything from the previous chapter in our story, but here is look into the beginning of the next chapter of our journey...
