It is nearly 10:00 pm and I am sitting here in my bed with my cute little guys. We are just watching Handy Manny and I can't help but be so happy to be their mom. I'm feeling all sorts of sappy because I'm so sad to send Coop back to school on Thursday. He really is my best little buddy and such a good helper. I'd be lying if I didn't say a very small part of me is looking forward to not having to referee so many fights, but I'd take the fights any day if it means I get more time with both my boys. The school routein will be good for us, but I'm sure going to miss our late night cartoons, our afternoon adventures, and lazy summer mornings!

Going Private

I've given this a lot of thought and decided that I am going to make this blog private. In a perfect world I hope to keep it much more up to date and more of a journal for me and my family. I know it makes it a pain for the two people who might actually read this, but there are way too many crazies in this world and a few people that I frankly don't want being in my business. If you'd like to have access to this blog, please leave a comment below and I'd be happy to add you. (Unless you are one of the crazies! Then I guess you will have to take the hint when I don't add you.)

Yet another post about golf...

Coop was lucky enough to be invited to play in the UJGA Tournament of Champions this morning. He didn't play his best and ended up finishing in 5th place but It was fun for him to be included and I'm so proud of him!

My boys would go golfing every night if they could. Derek is so great to take them quite often and last night he was crazy enough to take both of them. I'm so glad they are able to spend so much time together doing something they all enjoy.

Hooray!!

It feels so good to say that this blog is finally caught up! It was well over a year worth if pictures to update so they are a little random and don't have a lot of explanations included. That is better than nothing, right?! Hopefully I will once and for all keep this blog updated from now on. We are so happy and really just trying to enjoy our journey!

Rough Day

Yesterday Jack had to have a cavity filled and because he's not the most mild tempered child, we had to have it done at the hospital. The hospital staff was amazing, but it was a rough day on both of us. Jack didn't recover very well from the anesthesia and screamed at everyone for a good hour while he woke up. I'm so thankful for my healthy children! I don't ever want to take my kids back there again!

Cooper is 8!

Cooper had a BIG birthday this year! He's so excited to finally be 8. He had a week long celebration. We spent a day together at a golf tournament, went to Lagoon, had a "Let's Make a Deal" birthday party, and then on his actual birthday we went to the Salem Days parade, Brick Oven for lunch and had a party with the Nelson's that night. This kid is sure loved!
