"Don't get distracted with a lot of things that have no meaning for you or your family. Don't dwell on your failures, but think about your successes. Have joy in your home. Have joy in your children. Have joy in your husband. Be grateful for the journey."

BRrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr......
Because we became so used to being in parades all summer, we decided to get us back in the parade mood even in the 19 degree weather. Derek's uncle and cousins are building a new grocery store in Salem and they had a float in the Salem City Light Parade. They asked us to ride their float with them. Cooper was SO excited to be in a parade again. He was so cute yelling "MERRY CHRISTMAS" to everyone. I tried to get him to yell "Yay Jason" like all our summer parades, but he wouldn't fall for it. It was FREEZING but a ton of fun! I think it was about 18 degrees outside. For anyone who hasn't made it down to see the lights on Salem Pond yet.. you are missing out! They keep them on through New Year's Day and they are worth the short drive to see them. Cooper is going to really miss seeing them when they get turned off. Cooper even got to meet Santa and the Spanish Fork princesses at the parade. He was in heaven!
